FOOT & ANKLE MOVEMENTS
Train the foot and ankle through multiple directions
The REHTRAIN Foot Strap is designed to train key movements of the foot and ankle using cable resistance.
By adjusting thedirection of resistance, you can train dorsiflexion, inversion and eversion with controlled and
progressive loading.
Each movement can be performed with resistance adapted to the individual, making it easy to progress from
lighter rehabilitation exercises to more demanding strength training.
DORSIFLEXION
Strengthen the muscles that lift the foot
Dorsiflexion is the movement of bringing the top of the foot toward the shin.
With the REHTRAIN Foot Strap connected to a cable machine,
resistance can be applied throughout the movement for controlled and progressive training.
Adjust the cable resistance to match your current strength and gradually increase the load as your capacity improves.
INVERSION
Train inward control of the foot and ankle
Inversion involves moving the foot inward. REHTRAIN allows this movement to be trained against cable resistance,
creating a simple way to progressively strengthen the muscles involved in controlling the foot and ankle.
The resistance can be adjusted in small increments, allowing the exercise to be adapted for different
levels of strength and training goals.
EVERSION
Strengthen outward movement and control
Eversion is the movement of the foot outward. Using the REHTRAIN Foot Strap with a
cable machine allows resistance to be applied directly against this movement.
Cable resistance makes the exercise easy to adjust and progress over time,
whether the goal is rehabilitation, improved strength or athletic performance.
PROGRESSIVE BY DESIGN
Start light. Build strength. Progress over time.
Foot and ankle training shouldn't stop when an exercise becomes easy.
REHTRAIN makes it possible to progressively increase resistance using the weight stack of a cable machine.
Start with a resistance that matches your current ability and increase the load as strength develops.
